“In the Window” Concerts in Huntington, NY
Every Friday Night in Huntington Village keep a look out for the “In the Window” concert series hosted by Just Kids Nostalgia. Frustrated with a lack of local music in Huntington and Long Island, store owner, Ken Farrell, decided to take matter into his own hands. Every week Ken invites local musicians of all backgrounds including rap, blues, rock, folk, rockabilly, and even a battle of the bands to perform in his memorabilia collections store.
This is one guaranteed place to go and have fun. In the heart of downtown Huntington, Just Kids Nostalgia provides an alcohol and drug free environment for people of all ages to come together and enjoy good local musicians. Although sometimes there’s too much fun and the crowd overflows into the sidewalk and streets.
There are snacks, good company and a store filled with collectible records, movie posters and vintage toys. Stop by if you can, it’s free and it’s fun!
