Last Licks Cafe Concerts

Long Island’s best folk, blues, jazz and more!

The Last Licks Cafe began in January, 2004 to provide Long Island performers a chance to be heard in a comfortable and inviting setting. The producers, Larry Chorowski and Gerald Moss, started with in-house talent and soon expanded its reach to not just local talent but to nationally known artists.

The Last Licks Cafe specializes in promoting country, folk and great bluegrass music. To further promote all artists of all background, before each headliner for the night there’s an open mic anyone can take part in. The open mics start at 7:30pm and the headliners go one at 8:30pm.

All admission costs benefit the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Huntington. Their aim is to encourage and promote:

  • An enriching environment for a life-long spiritual journey in which ethical principles can be passed from generation to generation;
  • Social responsibility toward building a just community;
  • The pursuit of intellectual growth;
  • A nurturing, open community in which all can share their lives and experiences;
  • Freedom of expression;
  • Active participation in the life of the Fellowship.
