2008 Town of Hempstead Free Neighborhood Concert Series

The 2008 Town of Hempstead Free Neighborhood Concert Series is held in several community venues across the Town of Hemptstead so be sure to check out the official website for location details.

All shows start at 8pm. If the weather does not look promising, call the Cultural Arts Office at 292-9000, ext. 382 for information.

The Hempstead Free Neighborhood Concert Series features several classic genres such as rockabilly, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s rock, dixieland, blues, motown and more. Other highlights include tribute bands covering Chicago, Bon Jovi, Elton John, Sinatra, Rod Stewart, Heart and more. A great way to hear some great hits, without hitting the wallet!

    It’s always a pleasure to see and listen to Lou Moneta & Gayle Scott during the summer time “Music In the Park!”

    They are an enormous gift to our community.
