For 25 years, the North Shore LIJ Health System Foundation has been hosting a benefit concert to support the Breast Care Center in Glen Cove Hospital. On Saturday evening, June 14th, come help celebrate the 26th Annual Summer Picnic POPS Concert. The event is held at the Old Westbury Gardens, rain or shine.

The entertainment for the night will be Nassau County’s own Nassau County Pops Symphony Orchestra. The band starts at 8pm and will entertain the crowd for a wonderful summer evening on Long Island. I suggest bringing a lawn chair for optimal comfort, it’ll help fight the grass stains. Might want to bring a few extra lawn chairs for the kids too - they get in free. The gates open at 6pm and you can bring your own
food and drink or purchase it at the show.

Tickets are on sale right now through their website for only $30. Admission at the door is $35. Remember, your purchase directly benefits a great institution providing much needed services to our local community. And you get to spend a night listening to a fine band with family and friends.

Turn off the TV, get out of the house, and spoil yourself with a great night and know that your entertainment will help future research and support for local cancer patients.
